10 hours later, we’ve put at least 2, and in some cases, 3 coats of paint on the dining room and living rooms walls (one level of a multi-split level house). Bone white, sage green, and a bali-esque sunrise-y melon that I’m the only one that likes, on the raised half wall – at least for the moment. We’ll see how it looks in sunlight.
I’m exhausted – I think we all are – but it’s a good exhaustion. Of course, tomorrow I’ll barely be able to move… then again, that’s why Trace and I are just planning on browsing, and then the three of us are going to the movies and a nice sushi dinner. I should be able to do that, although it’s gonna take a lot of diverse pain management skills to do so without pain.
Thankfully, I have those mad skillz, eh?
Also, if you missed the Supersize Mythbusters, you really missed out. Just sayin’.
Wow . . . someone who likes Mythbusters. ๐
Love Mythbusters. They’re about the nicest people ever, and make fabulously entertaining television. Plus, I can appreciate their basic motto – everything’s better with explosions. ๐
(All three of us watched last night – Tracy couldn’t go to sleep til we found out if the fake dolphin would chase off great whites.)
I think the only Discovery show I might love more than Mythbusters for just good, cheerful fun is Dirty Jobs. ๐
Are we synchronized? My sister Anna and I spent the weekend painting too – turned the kitchen a warm medium blue, with one pale orange wall and an orange door. It looks lovely, but is also freaking us out (something about changing the way a room looks after 22 years…).
