Nice! And great question, btw: “What does it mean to respect a dead body?” I wonder, too, how disrespect and memory are mobilized here. Predictably, I’m thinking of e-homages to the dead on social networking sites and how digital bodies are “stored” and ultimately correspond with actual bodies.
