The hotel had these amazing flower displays in the middle of the lobby, and they changed at least twice while I was there.

This was an almost perfectly balanced composition - the fluffiness of the leaf material, the lilies, and then the brilliant pop of the cranberries.

The problem with the flash on my old camera is just this - that it would wash out if too close. The next photo shows the colour of the roses much better.

Very lush and beautiful roses.

I love lilies, but rarely have them at home - I got into the habit of not buying them, as my father is dreadfully allergic to them. But they're stunning flowers.

Cranberries have been a favourite winter floral mix of mine since I had them as a part of my wedding bouquet lo those many years ago.

Branches - I think willow - and they had pretty little glass balls hanging throughout.
